About The Event
From the land of sunkissed beer guts, Stillwater, MN, Chris Maddock is a gorgeous and classically styled stand up comedian, made of solid, delicious grapes.
For the first 15 years of his career, Chris "Mad Dog" Maddock hosted the storied Death Comedy Jam, a weekly hub of MPLS comedy whose stage saw the likes of funny giants such as Maria Bamford, Mark Normand, Paul F. Thompkins, and Sam Morril, and is the subject of the documentary film, “Death’s Last Stand”.
He recorded his first comedy album, “Point of Entry” in one take, at the legendary Minneapolis rock ganglion First Avenue in the 7th St. Entry, and released it in 2012 on the Grammy Award winning Stand Up! Records.
Chris has opened for Hannibal Buress, Rory Scovel, Joe Derosa, and the mighty Doug Stanhope, the latter of whom felt compelled to tweet him as "very f#!%ing funny!"
